Thomas Jefferson endorses a 'global test' for America's security.

"When, in the course of human events, it becomes 

necessary for one people to dissolve the political bonds
which have connected them with another, and to assume
among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal
station to which the laws of nature and of nature's God
entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of
mankind
requires that they should declare the causes
which impel them to the separation."
So this Jefferson character thinks that in order for America to declare independence from Great Britain, they should have to explain their position to the world and present specific causes for said revolution? Rotten pinko commie rat.

Then again, the list of complaints against George III are often exaggerated and/or deceptive. Mossad confirmed the accuracy of the charge about those damned Indians, you know.
